• Question: I have noticed that on your profile it says that you are woking on sponges that hold gases. Is there any way that these could be used to solve the greenhouse gas problems?

Yes, that’s exactly one of the things we’re trying to do. I’m working on making MOFs (sponges) that selectively take up carbon dioxide. So you could put them around the top of chimneys on power stations and they’d suck up at the carbon dioxide but let the other gases through.
