Question: What do you think the most important drug is?

This is a difficult question with no definite answer as lots of drugs are very important for treating different diseases. If you had diabetes you would probably say insulin, if you were suffering from cancer you might say Imatinib, if you had a bacterial infection you might say an antibiotic like penicillin. If you worked for a big drug manufacturer your decision might be based on how much money each drug was worth. Ofcourse there are lots of diseases for which there are no available drugs, like Alzheimer’s disease, and so finding some is really very important.
