      I don’t know much about the brain – you’d have to ask a psychologist about that. I think some things happen because the chemicals in your brain become a bit imbalanced and it changes how your brain works.

      Our brains are very complicated things and they contain a cocktail of different molecules called neurotransmitters that send signals around our brain to control our bodies and how we feel. Sometimes this cocktail of neurotransmitters is not balanced the way it should be and this can cause mental health issues. Mental health issues are quite distressing as people who suffer from them have no control over how they feel. Some drugs are available to try and help address the imbalance of neurotransmitters but we don’t yet understand the brain as well as we’d like.
