• Question: With Pandora bracelets, how do they make the metal bendy? Do they heat it up, is it a certain type of metal that they use?

      Pandora bracelets are made up of a coil of metal so each link can move past its neighbour slightly – a bit like wriggling about a slinky when it’s all packed together.

      Jenny’s answer is spot on. If you make metal thin enough though, you can usually bend it but probably not something you want from a nice piece of jewelry!

      I think Jenny has given you the answer you are looking for.

      Most metals, particularly those used for jewellery and coins, are malleable. This means the can be hammered or pressed into shapes without breaking.
