• Question: do you ever get bored in a chemistry lab? :)

      Quite often, but it’s usually my own fault. As long as I’m busy and doing lots of reactions then I don’t get bored, but sometimes I’m a bit slow and don’t start something early enough in the day, which means I have to wait until the next day to start it, leaving me not much to do!
      There are also some reactions that are really boring to set up, but you just have to think of the results that you’re getting out at the other end – often some of the most boring and repetitive jobs have the most exciting results!
