      No, this is another myth, according to this article here:

      They say that they’ve looked into loads of people’s stomachs and seen very little evidence of chewing gum remaining. It will take longer for it to pass through your system than other foods because you can’t actually digest it, but it will get pushed through by other things.

      I wouldn’t like to be the scientists who tested this hypothesis by searching through poo to find gum!
