• Question: have you created any drugs that destroy bad drugs that i would know off?

      I haven’t developed any drugs that have made it as far as to be used for treating patients yet. The bugs I am working on developing drugs for include yersinia pestis which causes the plague and bacillus anthracis which causes anthrax. These are some pretty serious diseases that you may have heard of. The most famous drug for treating bacterial infections is penicillin which was developed by my compatriot Sir Alexander Fleming over 50 years ago. A lot of bacteria are now resistant to penicillin, so we need to find new drugs, fast!
