Each of our routes into science is different. Mine was a long a rocky road, that was a function of my strange backgrounds in relatively diverse fields. Others who do similar work to me choose more direct roots. Your path will no doubt be unique to you, but it is a passion to learn that is often the deciding factor in someones success…so pick a subject that you really enjoy, and I have no doubt that you will succeed.
