      I’m guessing that the biggest winners are going to be the sponsors, whose names will be prominent on screens across the world. As to the football, my money’s on Ivory Coast, literally (I drew them out of the hat in the sweepstake that’s being run at work). What’s the chance that I’ll be a winner, do you think?

      I’m going with Brazil. They are always good to watch and in their home nation, who could bet against them! And after last night’s game, they look to be getting a bit of luck too!

      Definitely not Scotland! Previously, no European team has won the World Cup when it has been hosted in South America so the evidence suggests either Argentina or Brazil… I’ll choose Argentina because they have Messi and I think the pressure will be too much for Brazil.

      My teams in the sweepstake at work are Uruguay and Portugal, so I’m hoping one of those two do well! After the game last night, I’m going to go for Holland to win.
